Install your radar

Bathroom: rest it on the mirror or the door frame

No drilling, no ladder. In the owlCare app, set the height to 210 cm for either spot.

On top of the mirror, about 205 cm — **Top of the mirror** · ≈205 cm

On the door frame, about 210 cm — **Door frame** · ≈210 cm

Standard sizes — if yours differ, measure from the floor to where the radar sits. Keep 1 m (3 ft) from exhaust fans and 50 cm (20 in) from heat lamps. A toilet in its own closet needs its own sensor.

Bedroom: on the wall at the head of the bed, about 160 cm, or on the ceiling above the bed.

Install your sleep pad

**1Position**50–60 cm (20–24 in) from the headboard, centered across the bed.

**2Under the mattress**Lay it flat on the bed base and stick it down with the 3M tape. Not for water beds or air mattresses.

**3Connect**Pad cable to the Sensor Pad port, adapter to the Power port, then into the wall.

**4Add it in owlCare**Same as the radar: MyDevice → Add device, then pick the bed it is under.

Set up in the app

A few short steps, the same for the radar and the sleep pad.

**2Add the sensor and connect Wi-FiMyDevice** → **Add device** (top left) → **Scan QR code** on the back of the sensor, or **Nearby (Bluetooth)** and pick it. Enter your 2.4 GHz Wi-Fi name and password, tap **Connect**, then **Choose location**.

**3Pick the room**Tap ⋯ next to the sensor → **Location** → **New room**, name it, then **Add room** — or **Add as bathroom** for a bathroom.

**4Set how it is mountedMyHome** → **Build** → **Radar**: pick the mode (Wall / Ceiling), the layout and the height (bathroom: 210 cm), then **Save**. The radar finds the door by itself; **Entrance** is optional.

**5Mark the bed — bedroom only**① **Bed** → ② **Add** → ③ at a corner of the bed, tap **Detect** (repeat for 3 corners) → ④ **Save**. Skip this in a bathroom.

**6Choose your alerts**① **MyDevice** → ② **AlarmSet** → ③ tap a tile to turn that alert on or off, and set how long before a long stay alerts. Falls alert after 60 seconds by default.

**7Add contacts**① **Alarms** → **Contacts** → ② **Add contact** → ③ name, email, role (**Family** or **Caregiver**), **Save** → ④ **Share image** to send them their sign-in.

Device not found
Plug it in, keep your phone right next to it, then tap Scan again.
wifi_off
Stays offline
Check the Wi-Fi name and password, and use 2.4 GHz (5 GHz is not supported). To start Wi-Fi setup over, hold the radar button for 10 seconds.
warning
Mount warning in the app
⚠ next to Wall or Ceiling means the radar is not seated in its bracket. Push it back in, level side to side.
blur_on
A "ghost" person or false alerts
Mirrors, curtains and fans can reflect radar. Sign in at pilot.wisefido.com on a computer, open the room layout and mark that spot as Curtain or Fan (interference). The radar ignores it from then on.

Pets
Large pets moving around can trigger alerts. Contact us and we will help you tune it.
